Botox & Fillers
As board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Anup Patel has comprehensive knowledge of the facial anatomy. He performs all the injections from neuromodulators such as Botox and Dysport to fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane himself.
In general, neuromodulators are used to correct wrinkles (rhytids) and fillers are used to restore volume in various areas such as the lips, nasolabial folds, cheeks, and hands. Please see Dr. Patel’s article on this in featured in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Global Open.
Prior the injection, each patient undergoes an in-depth consultation to ensure that the minimally invasive treatment option would provide the desired aesthetic goal. Another advantage if neuromodulators or fillers will not be beneficial, Dr. Patel can offer surgical intervention if necessary from eyelid to facelifts.
Botox – The Miracle Injection for Wrinkles
Patient 1
36 year old female who wishes to have elimination of her forehead, glabella, and crow’s feet wrinkles. We use Botox to address this with the patient shown in three views. She also desires more volume for her nasolabial folds. We use fillers to do this
Patient 2
38 year old female who wishes to have forehead wrinkles to be eliminated. We use Botox to address achieve this.
Patient 3
37 year old male who wishes to eliminate his forehead wrinkles. We used Botox to address this.
Patient 4
30 year old female who wishes to have more volume in her lips. We use fillers to achieve this.
Patient 5
36 year old female who wishes to have more volume in her lips. We use fillers to achieve this

Dr. Anup Patel
Dr. Anup Patel is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon trained in aesthetic, hand/upper extremity and reconstructive surgery. He completed his plastic and reconstructive surgery training at the premier Yale University followed by a hand and microsurgery fellowship at the New York University Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Mount Sinai Department of Orthopedics. Dr. Patel received his MD and MBA from the Yale University School of Medicine and Yale University School of Management, respectively. He graduated as the valedictorian of his class at the University of Florida majoring in economics, biochemistry and molecular genetics and valedictorian of his high-school class at Lake Highland.
